Pleasure Trail Ride in the Pine Nut Mountains: You will ride through the beautiful Carson Valley Pine Nut Mountains. It will be staged out of the Douglas County Fairgrounds and will be 6-8 miles (about 3 hours) long over flat and gently roling, sandy to mildly rock terrain and on some dirt roads. There will be no water crossings.

The decade before the emergence of Virginia City and leading up to the Civil War emerges as the story of Nevada's founding. |
